The Barnesville City Council will hold their regular 5-8-23 City Council Meeting on Monday, May 8 at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers. Residents who wish to attend the meeting should enter the building using the rear door off the alley.
Because of the very late Spring, the City of Barnesville has rescheduled the 2023 Clean-up Week for Wednesday, May 31, Thursday, June 1 and Friday, June 2. Midstates Communications will be in Barnesville on Wednesday, April 26 doing the annual maintenance of the city’s two tornado sirens from 9:00 am to 12 Noon. During the maintenance, residents can expect to hear the sirens to go off several times.

Effective Tuesday, March 28 at 12 Noon the warming house for the Ice Skating Rink will close for the season. Public Works will continue to remove the snow from the rink for as long as the ice remains solid.
The City of Barnesville has confirmed with Fuchs Sanitation that because of the late Spring the dates for Barnesville’s Clean-up Week has been changed from mid-April to Wednesday, May 31, Thursday, June 1 and Friday, June 2. Any residents with questions should contact City Hall at 218.354.2292.
