The Barnesville Zoning Ordinance makes allowances for Variances to be granted to property owners when the struct enforcement of the ordinances would cause undue hardship because of circumstances unique to the individual property. Examples might include building setback distances and lot coverage.
Variances require a process that includes a public hearing. Ample time should be allowed to obtain the variance. The city will make every attempt to expedite the process within the constraints of the ordinance.
