The number of mosquitoes has increased to the point where Barnesville Public Works staff will begin spraying for mosquitoes on Tuesday, June 7.  Many mosquitoes can transmit diseases to humans so it is important to minimize the numbers as much as possible. The transition to the New Garbage Tote – Curbside Recycling Program will be happening in mid-June.  The City of Barnesville has published an informational booklet explaining all of the program details.  That booklet was mailed to Barnesville residents but can also be accessed directly through here –  Curbside Garbage Pick-up Booklet.
