The Barnesville City Council will hold a Special City Council  Meeting on Thursday, July 20 at 7:30 am.  Residents who wish to attend the meeting should enter City Hall using the rear door off the alley.

An AERIAL Mosquito Control Application is scheduled for Tuesday, July 11, between 7-11 PM, weather permitting. Should the spray be rescheduled, it would then take place the following evening.   These applications have been approved by the FAA and the appropriate state departments. City offices will be CLOSED Monday, June 19 for the new recognized state holiday, Juneteenth. The holiday is to recognize the date on which slavery was abolished in the United States and to celebrate freedom. Public business cannot be conducted on June 19 in observance of the holiday.
