BUSINESSES:

2nd Time’s a Charm: Closed until further notice

Azure Vision Care: Currently open  with regular hours to all patients. Patients must wear a mask. 

Barnesville American Legion: Open  4-9 pm Monday-Saturday. Take-out only, with a limited menu. Come to the side door by the kitchen or call 218.354.2348. CLICK HERE FOR SPECIALS

Barnesville Animal Clinic: Open 8 am-4:30 pm (or until after our last appointment) during the shelter in place. We are asking clients to wait in their cars and to call the clinic when they arrive.

Barnesville C-Store: Open regular hours.

Barnesville Child Day Care Center:  The center will be reopening on Monday, April 13. For questions or more information call 354-7542.

Barnesville Chiropractic & Fitness Center: Only open for acute musculoskeletal problems, in other words, patients that would otherwise present to the emergency room or walk-on clinics. We will be rescheduling all preventative care patients for one month and will be rescheduling any DOT physicals. The Federal Motor Safety Administration has given a temporary waiver to all DOT drivers until June 30th. If you are suffering from any problems that would fall into the category of emergency care, please call the office at 218.354.2184. If the clinic is closed you can call Dr. Wahl’s office cell at 218.329.5894. The Fitness Center will be closed until May 4th. 

Barnesville City Hall: Closed to the public. You can still call, drop off your utility bill in the drop box or pay your bill online.

Barnesville Dairy Queen: Open 10:30 am-9 pm for drive-though and to-go orders. They ask that you use a credit or debit card for your order. CLICK HERE FOR MENU

Barnesville Grocery: Hot lunches served from 10:30 am-1 pm. Take & bake meals are available in the cooler. Same-Day Delivery is available to ages 60+, as well as tho those who have a compromised immune system, or is ill. The delivery service is available Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Please call the store between 9-11 am, and the groceries will be delivered that afternoon. Also, If you want to have a friend swing in and pick it your order, we will shop the order your order and have it ready for them. At this time, the store will not be taking cash, and only accepting credit and debit cards. Also, please refrain from bringing in reusable shopping bags. 

Barnesville Recycling Center: In response to many requests from our residents, the City of Barnesville will reopen the Recycling Center on Tuesday, April 21 utilizing a new self-service arrangement! City staff will be onsite to offer direction, but you be required to sort your own recyclables into the appropriate bins. Hours will remain the same:  Tuesdays and Thursday: 12 Noon – 8 pm and Saturdays 8 am – 12 Noon.  If you have questions, contact City Hall at 354-2292.

Carlson & Associates: Staff is currently working from home during the next 2 weeks.  We will be checking the office periodically. Designs by Becky: Open usual hours 9 am-5 pm on Friday, but closed on Saturday until further notice. Please call ahead your order and Becky will meet you at the door. 

Dean’s Bulk Service: The office is closed to the public until June 8th. You can use the online bill-pay on the website www.dbsoil.com to make a payment. If you need help getting set up, please call the office at 218.354.2378.

Firehall Liquors: Open Monday-Thursday 12 pm-8 pm, Friday and Saturday remain 12 pm-9 pm.
We plan to open up Sundays beginning June 14th. We ask for no more than 5 customers in the store at one time.

J & S Farmer’s Mill: Will remain open with a large variety of Nutri Source pet foods, along with livestock feeds. For any questions you can call 2187.354.2247. We will work with customers amid the virus. 

Lake Region Healthcare Barnesville Area Clinic: In addition to the virtual appointment options, Barnesville, will remain open for in-person visits for urgent needs that require a face-to-face appointment. For patients who need medical care, virtual appointments will be scheduled the same way as a traditional appointment, by calling the appointment line for the respective clinic. When it is time for the patient’s virtual appointment, they can follow the instructions and check-in found at lrhc.org/virtualappointments or prairiehealth.org/virtualappointments. Patients will need a computer with a webcam, a smartphone or tablet and a good internet connection.

Maple River Grain: Offices will be closed to walk-in traffic until further notice. Direct numbers for employees are listed on their website. 

Midwest Bank: Lobby is closed to the public. Banking services will continue to be provided through the drive-up and/or walk-up window facilities during regular business hours, as well as through ATMS and online banking.

Purple Goose: Open 11 am-8 pm for carry-out and delivery orders. You may call in an order at 218.354.7500, text 218.321.1963  or order online. Ratzo’s Pool Hall: Closed until further notice.

RehabPLUS: Open as scheduled. If you are unsure if your physical situation is worth the risk of leaving your home, please call and discuss it with Pete at 218.354.7080. We would be glad to problem solve with you. Most insurances have approved televisits during this time and if you need some specific exercises for a home program, we have the ability to send exercise pictures and instructions via cell phone texts.

Spring Area-Wide Rummage Sales: Postponed. Tentatively rescheduled for June 19th-20th. 

Spring Clean-Up Week: Postponed. Dates will be posted when available. 

Spring Yard Waste Pick-Up: Fuchs Sanitation will have Spring Yard Waste pick-up in Barnesville as scheduled on Friday, April 24 and Friday, May 1. Please place yard waste at your normal garbage collection site. All Yard Waste must be in clear, see through bags!

State Farm Insurance: In Office hours 9 am-3 pm Monday-Friday. Starting Monday, March 30th, the doors will be closed to the public but will be available to customers by phone at 218.354.2249 or email beth@shanerawinsurance.com or shane@shanerawinsurance.com

Styles by Jean: Closed until further notice

Suz Dance Studio: The studio will remain closed  until we are given the all clear to continue business. The school has been contacted for available dates to reschedule the recital. Once we have confirmed dates for the show, we will determine when we will get back into the studio for our two week session to review and prepare for the show.

Valley Care & Rehab: Only medical necessary visits allowed until further notice. Only employees, contractors and government officials can enter the doors. Messages can be sent to residents by Facebook Messenger or on their website by clicking “Contact a Resident.”

Willow Creek Insurance: Closed to customer traffic, but still open. If you need to speak to one of us, please call 218.354.2276 or email the office at info@willowcreekins.com. If you need to drop off a payment, please knock on the window or door and someone will come out to pick up the payment.

CHURCHES & ORGANIZATIONS:

Assumption Catholic Church: Closed for gatherings, but will live-stream Masses from the Chapel in the Rectory at 5 pm on Saturday, and 9 am and 10:30 am on Sunday.

Baker-Downer Presbyterian Church: No church services until further notice. 

Barnesville Area Food Pantry: Open from 5-7 pm every Monday. If there are emergency food needs, residents can call 218.493.4497 to make arrangements to access food outside of those hours.

Barnesville Area Helpers: Office is currently closed and staff is working from home. If there is an essential need, please call our office phone 354-7090. We are regularly checking voicemails. You may also contact Katharine at 701-371-0886 or Deb at 701-793-1255 with any needs or concerns.

Barnesville Lions: Stag scheduled for April 2nd cancelled. Drawing for prizes on tickets will still take place at a later date, once the Governor’s “Stay in Place” order is over. 

Barnesville Public Library: Closed until further notice. eBooks may still be checked out through the Libby & Overdrive app. 

Barnesville Public Schools: School will be closed to students. Students will resume distance learning methods for the remainder of the school year. 

Hope Lutheran Brethren Church: There will be no in-person church events until restrictions are lifted.  Sunday mornings will have an interactive kids Sunday school on Facebook Live at 9:15 am and our worship service will be on Facebook Live at 10:30 am.  Our worship service can also be found on Channel 12, Sundays at 3 pm and 8 pm, as well as on YouTube.

Hosanna Fellowship: Church activities are canceled until May 1st.

Main Street Program: Showcase scheduled for March 21st is cancelled

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church:  All in-person gatherings have been suspended at this time. They will be engaging through Facebook Live, daily devotions and meetings on Zoom.

St. James United Church of Christ: No Sunday worship service or Wednesday Lenten Programs at the church until further notice. A modified Sunday service will be available on YouTube and Pastor Frank’s Lenten Program message will be emailed to you.

St. John’s Lutheran Church: All in person worship Services, bible studies and Sunday school are suspended. You can find online services at www. stjohnsbarnesville.org or on the church’s Facebook and YouTube page.
