FRONT STREET/MAIN AVENUE CLOSURE AND TEMPORARY WATER IMPACTS

On Tuesday, June 13 at 7 AM the intersection of Front Street and Main Avenue will temporarily close, as crews tie in the existing and new water main services. Barring construction problems, the intersection should reopen by 7:00 pm on Tuesday.
In addition, while this work is being done, all homes and businesses located west of Front Street will be switched to temporary water. Those properties may experience reduced water pressure until approximately 1 pm. After the work is completed, residents may see discolored water or debris in the water which is normal after line flushing.
The temporary water is perfectly safe to use as normal.
