CITY TO SWITCH TO MORNING GROUND SPRAYING FOR MOSQUITOES!
Starting this week, Barnesville Public Works is going to adjust the days and times that they ground spray for mosquitoes. Research has shown that mosquitoes are more active in the earlier morning hours!
Starting this Wednesday, August 10, Public Works crews will ground spray for mosquitoes between 4-8 am on both Wednesday and Friday mornings. Spraying is always weather dependent.
The spray is safe around pets and humans, but you may want to go inside when you see the truck coming down your street!
