CITY COUNCIL TO HOLD REGULAR MEETING ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14!

The Barnesville City Council will hold their regular 9-14-20 City Council Meeting on Monday, September 14 beginning at 7:00 pm.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be held electronically.  Information on how the public can participate can be found on the meeting agenda.

CITY TO GROUND SPRAY FOR MOSQUITOES ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3!

City of Barnesville Public Works crews will be ground spraying for mosquitoes on Thursday, September 3 between 7:00-11:00 pm.  Spraying is always weather dependent.  The spray is safe for pets and humans, but it’s a good idea to go indoors when the truck comes down the street!

13TH STREET ROAD CLOSURE POSTPONED!

ROAD CLOSURE POSTPONED !  Due to wind speeds forecasted for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, Barnesville Public Works crews WILL NOT be able to apply polymer coating to the road surface.   Watch the city’s Facebook page and website for rescheduled dates.

BARNESVILLE TO AERIAL MOSQUITO SPRAY ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 28

An aerial mosquito control application is scheduled for Barnesville on Friday, August 28, between 7-11 PM, weather permitting.
