The Barnesville City Council will hold their regular 9-14-20 City Council Meeting on Monday, September 14 beginning at 7:00 pm.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be held electronically.  Information on how the public can participate can be found on the meeting agenda.

City of Barnesville Public Works crews will be ground spraying for mosquitoes on Thursday, September 10 between 7:00-11:00 pm.  Spraying is always weather dependent.  The spray is safe for pets and humans, but it’s a good idea to go indoors when the truck comes down the street!

The final day that the Beach House at Blue Eagle Lake will be open for the season is this Sunday, September 6. Thanks to all the kids and families who came out and enjoyed the lake this summer!

ROAD CLOSURE POSTPONED !  Due to wind speeds forecasted for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, Barnesville Public Works crews WILL NOT be able to apply polymer coating to the road surface.   Watch the city’s Facebook page and website for rescheduled dates.

An aerial mosquito control application is scheduled for Barnesville on Friday, August 28, between 7-11 PM, weather permitting.
