Cutouts of dogs have been placed around Blue Eagle Lake. This was done in order to keep the geese off of the walking path around the lake and to keep it clean. These cutouts are supposed to help with this problem.

The Barnesville City Council will hold their regular August 11 City Council Meeting on Monday, August 11 beginning at 7 pm in the City Council Chambers.

Barnesville Public Works will be ground spraying for mosquitoes today, Thursday, August 7th. Spraying should occur between 7:30-11:30 p.m. Spraying is always weather dependent.
