PICNIC SHELTER AT BLUE EAGLE PARK GETS RENAMED

In cooperation with the Lions, the Park Board has renamed one of the picnic shelters at Blue Eagle Lake in memory of Roland Holm. One of the many things Roland enjoyed in Barnesville was Blue Eagle Lake and it’s park.

MOSQUITO SPRAYING ALERT

Barnesville Public Works will be ground spraying for mosquitoes today, Thursday, July 17h. Spraying should occur between 7:30-11:30 p.m. Spraying is always weather dependent.

THE WEED MACHINE IS WORKING AT BLUE EAGLE LAKE!

The City of Barnesville’s Weed Machine, The Silver Mist, is making its maiden voyage this year clearing weeds from Blue Eagle Lake! The machine will be anchored in the lake after hours through Friday. Please STAY AWAY from the weed machine….it will be under surveillance by the Police department. Thank you!
