CITY COUNCIL TO HOLD SPECIAL MEETING ON MONDAY, JULY 26

The Barnesville City Council will hold a 7-26-21 Special City Council Meeting on Monday, July 26 beginning at 5:00 pm in the City Council Chambers located at the rear of 102 Front Street North.   Citizens who wish to attend the meeting should enter the chambers using the rear door off the alley.

CITY TO GROUND SPRAY FOR MOSQUITOES ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 21

Barnesville Public Works will be ground spraying for mosquitoes on Wednesday, July 21 between the hours of 7-11 pm, weather permitting.  The spray is safe for both humans and animals, but to be cautious residents may want to go indoors when the truck some down the street.

CITY IMPLEMENTS STAGE 3 WATER RESTRICTIONS!

CITY COUNCIL TO HOLD EMERGENCY MEETING ON TUESDAY, JULY 20

The Barnesville City Council will hold an Emergency Emergency Meeting on Tuesday, July 20 at 7:30 am in the City Council Chambers to consider declaring  Stage 2 Watering Restrictions.  Residents interested in attending the meeting may enter City Hall using the rear door off the alley.  

CITY TO AERIAL SPRAY FOR MOSQUITOES ON TUESDAY, JULY 13

An aerial mosquito control application is scheduled for: Tuesday, July 13, between 7-11 PM, weather permitting. Should the spray be rescheduled, it would then take place the following evening. The Barnesville City council will hold their regular 7-12-21 City Council Meeting on Monday, August 12 beginning at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers.  The Council Chambers are located at the rear of City Hall, located at 102 Front Street North.  Please enter the room off the rear alley.

CITY TO TREART BLUE EAGLE LAKE FOR SWIMMERS ITCH!

ATTENTION: There have been reports of swimmers itch after swimming in Blue Eagle Lake. On Tuesday, June 22 the water will be treated to address this issue and will be closed for a 24-hour span. The Blue Eagle Lake will reopen to swimmers Wednesday, June 23rd at noon.
