EXPECT TRAFFIC DELAYS AT HIGHWAY 9 & 34 INTERSECTION ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 11

RESIDENTS SHOULD ANTICIPATE SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC DELAYS ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 11
 
On Friday, August 11, crews will begin paving Highway 9 (Front Street) from the Highway 34 intersection south to the Main Avenue intersection.
 
At the Highway 9/Highway 34 INTERSECTION, motorists should expect to encounter periodic stops, long delays and flaggers on Friday and Saturday, August 11-12. During paving, traffic could be stopped for up to 15 minutes to allow the new pavement surface to cool before driving on it. Please obey traffic control. Your patience and cooperation are appreciated.
 
This will be the first layer (lift) of pavement in Phase 1. Once all phases are complete, crews will pave another lift along the entire project area.
