CITY LIFTS BOIL WATER ADVISORY!

The Minnesota Department of Health officials have completed their testing of water samples in the City of Barnesville and everything tested good. The MDH collected bacteriological samples on Sunday, August 29th. All follow-up bacteriological tests were absent for total coliform bacteria and chlorine residual levels are normal.

The BOIL WATER ADVISORY HAS BEEN LIFTED and residents in the City of Barnesville may resume normal water use.

The precautionary Boil Water Advisory was issued on Sunday as a result of a lightning strike which caused a temporary loss of water pressure making the system susceptible for contaminants to enter the system.
