CITY OF BARNESVILLE TAKES “KEEPS AMERICA CONNECTED PLEDGE”

Due to the ever-changing situation related to the world pandemic of COVID-19, the City of Barnesville wants to continue to offer our support to residents, some of which may be facing reduced work hours or job layoffs.

On Monday of this week, Barnesville Telephone and Internet took action to sign onto the FCC “Keep America Connected Pledge”. This pledge means that effective March 15, 2020 through May 15, 2020; we will not apply any late fees on any utility bills for residential or business customers.

In addition, during this time, the City of Barnesville will not be sending disconnect notices, nor disconnecting any customers from municipal utilities because of their inability to pay their bills due to the disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

We are very appreciative of all our customers that will continue to make their utility bills on time.

maintaining business operations and providing all necessary utility services.
