WORK HAS BEGUN ON NATURAL GAS PIPELINE TO BARNESVILLE

Work has begun on the pipeline that will bring natural gas to Barnesville. This picture was taken earlier this week north of Hawley where the pipeline will hook up to the Viking pipeline. Over the course of the next few months, workers will be extending the pipeline over 22 miles to just north of Barnesville. Work on the gas distribution system in the city is expected to start the week of July 7, with the entire project to be completed around November 1.
