SPECIAL HOURS ON LABOR DAY!
Both City Hall and Firehall Municipal Liquors will be CLOSED on Monday, September 3 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

GRASS CLIPPING DISPOSAL CHANGES ON SEPTEMBER 1
Effective immediately, Barnesville residents will need to take their grass clippings to the branch burn site located just south of the City Shop near the lagoons. Because of the poor condition of the existing dumpster it is being removed from the recycling center and because of the cost it will not be replaced.
HIGHWAY 52 SET TO REOPEN BY 1:00 PM TODAY
Old Highway 52 from Barnesville to Sabin, which has been closed for 2 weeks for bridge improvements is scheduled to reopen today by 1:00 pm according to the Clay County Highway Department.

NO MOSQUITO SPRAYING ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 23
Due to the low mosquito count numbers, the City of Barnesville will NOT be spraying for mosquitoes on Thursday, August 23.
