The Barnesville City Council will hold their 9-9-13 Regular Council monthly meeting this coming Monday, September 9th in the City Council Chambers.

Because of the low mosquito counts due to the hot, dry weather; Public Works will NOT be spraying for mosquitoes on Tuesday, September 3rd.

Once the street sealcoating is done, the rocks will remain on the streets for approximately 1 week. This time is very important as it allows the surface to “cure”. The Barnesville City Council is accepting applications for serving out the remaining term of Ward 2 Councilmember Darin Allmaras. Please submit a letter expressing your interest in the position by 1:00 p.m. this Thursday, September 5, 2013. The Council will consider this appointment at their September 9, 2013 meeting.
