POWER HAS BEEN RESTORED

Power has been restored to all the Barnesville Municipal Power customers. If you still do not have power, please contact City Hall at 354-2292.

POWER OUTAGE IS AFFECTING EAST SIDE OF TOWN

There is a power outage affecting properties on the east side of town. The City of Barnesville and Otter Tail Power are aware of the outage and are working to resolve the situation. At this point it is unknown when the power will be back on.

WORK HAS BEGUN ON NATURAL GAS PIPELINE TO BARNESVILLE

Work has begun on the pipeline that will bring natural gas to Barnesville. This picture was taken earlier this week north of Hawley where the pipeline will hook up to the Viking pipeline. THE HOURS AT BLUE EAGLE LAKE BEACH ARE CHANGING!

Due to the fact that we have fewer lifeguards this year, the hours at the Blue Eagle Lake Beach will be changing. Beginning Friday, June 27th the beach hours will be 11:30 am to 6:30 pm seven days a week. On July 4th the hours will be 10:30 am to 5:30 pm.

SWIMMER’S ITCH INFORMATION

Swimmer’s itch has been found in Blue Eagle Lake, however, Swimming Lessons will continue as scheduled. To prevent yourself or your child from getting Swimmer’s Itch, dry off completely and immediately after leaving the water. The City will be treating the lake in the next 10-14 days.
