CITY TO CONDUCT MAINTENANCE ON SIRENS ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 26
Midstates Communications will be in Barnesville on Wednesday, April 26 doing the annual maintenance of the city’s two tornado sirens from 9:00 am to 12 Noon. During the maintenance, residents can expect to hear the sirens to go off several times.
NEW DATES SCHEDULED FOR YARD WASTE PICK-UP!
While the snow has started to melt; unfortunately it is going to be a while before we will be able to start raking and cleaning up our yards. As a result, Fuchs has rescheduled the dates for Yard Waste Pick-up. See below. Please share this information!
CITY COUNCIL TO HOLD REGULAR MEETING ON MONDAY, APRIL 10
The Barnesville City Council will hold their regular 4-10-23 City Council Meeting on Monday, April 10 beginning at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers. Residents who wish to attend the meeting should enter City Hall using the rear door off the alley.
ICE SKATING WARMING HOUSE TO CLOSE FOR THE SEASON!
Effective Tuesday, March 28 at 12 Noon the warming house for the Ice Skating Rink will close for the season. Public Works will continue to remove the snow from the rink for as long as the ice remains solid.
CITY ADJUSTS CLEAN-UP WEEKS DATES DUE TO LATE SPRING!
The City of Barnesville has confirmed with Fuchs Sanitation that because of the late Spring the dates for Barnesville’s Clean-up Week has been changed from mid-April to Wednesday, May 31, Thursday, June 1 and Friday, June 2. Any residents with questions should contact City Hall at 218.354.2292.
CITY OFFICIALS WORKING TO SECURE FUNDING FOR IMPORTANT CITY PROJECTS!
Mayor Jason Rick and City Administrator have been working with elected officials about the possibility of securing state or federal funds for important projects including infrastructure replacement in the NW part of town and the paving of 13th Street.
CITY HALL HOURS ARE CHANGING ON MONDAY, APRIL 3!
Effective Monday, April 3, the hours at Barnesville City Hall will change to be changing to Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
