EMPTY PESTICIDE CONTAINER COLLECTION SEPT. 2-5

The Clay County Landfill is hosting its annual Empty Pesticide Container Collection September 2–5, 2025 from 8:30 AM–4:00 PM daily at 3301 190th St S, Hawley.

 

Containers must be triple rinsed, labels and caps removed and strung on bailing twine. Accepted containers can be up to 55 gallons.

 

This event does not accept household containers or chemicals. Empty household containers go in the garbage, while household paints and chemicals should be taken to the Resource Recovery Center in Moorhead (open M–F 8–4 and 1st & 3rd Saturdays 8–11:30 AM).
