CITY TO REPLACE MEDIA FILTER AT WATER TREATMENT PLANT

Beginning on March 17, the City of Barnesville making improvements to the drinking water supply. These improvements may cause temporary changes in your water. The filter media at the Water Treatment Plant is being replaced. This work should be completed by March 21. There will not be any health or safety concerns with this project, but water users may see slight discoloration during the project and for some days after completion while we fine tune the plant adjustments.The water department will be closely monitoring the water quality and making any corrections as quickly as possible.
