As of Sunday, April 5th, the PROBLEM WITH INCOMING PHONE CALLS has been resolved. On Saturday, April 4, the City of Barnesville was notified that an independent telephone transport company responsible for delivering incoming long distance phone calls to 354 prefix numbers is experiencing problems with an system update from last night. This means that anyone who places a long distance call to a 354 prefix phone number will receive a busy signal – this include cell phone calls. That company is aware of the problem and working to resolve it as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.
