MRES: ESTIMATED SAVINGS FOR BARNESVILLE RESIDENTS

Missouri River Energy Services has provided the city of Barnesville and its residents a presentation of the benefits of having a municipal electric utility. Barnesville power and transmission rates are significantly lower at 5.87 cents per kWh than the average of other utilities at 7.07 cents per kWh. This will save Barnesville an estimated $300,022 in 2017 amounting to about $12 per resident per month!
