NEW STOP SIGN INSTALLED AT CORNER OF 13th STREET AND 2nd AVENUE SE!

Recently families in the Del Acres Gilbertson Addition presented a request to the Barnesville City Council asking that for the safety of children in the area, a 4th stop sign be added to the 13th Street and 2nd Avenue SE intersection. At the City Council Meeting this last Monday, the Council approved placement of that sign. The sign was installed this afternoon. When you are traveling north on 13th Street from the 9th Avenue area, watch for the signage alerting you to the stop sign ahead and be sure to STOP at the corner. Playing attention will help keep our kids safe!
