CITY OF BARNESVILLE ELECTION RESULTS

The results of the November 3 Election have been made available.  For the two year term of Mayor, Gene Prim was the winner with 274 votes.  In the races for Barnesville City Council, in Ward 1 incumbent Betty Strom who was running unopposed, was reelected receiving 97 votes; in Ward 2 Dawn Stuvland was the winner with 74 votes while incumbent Richard Sylvester received 44 votes and in Ward 4, Bradley Field was the winner over incumbent Catherine Enstad with 63 votes versus 43 votes.  The City Council positions are four year terms.  Those elected will be sworn into office in January 2016.
