CITY COUNCIL FILINGS ARE NOW OPEN

Do you have an interest in being involved with City government? Maybe you’re interested in running for Mayor or Barnesville City Council?
Anyone over the age of 18 can file paperwork to have their name on the election ballot for Barnesville City Council. Filing dates are July 28 through Tuesday, August 11, 2015. The cost to file is $3. City Hall will remain open until 5 pm on Tuesday, August 11 to accept filings.
On November 3, 2015, voters will elect a Mayor, as well as council members for Wards 1, 2, and 3.
