UPDATE ON RESTORATION OF AREAS WHERE NATURAL GAS LINES WERE INSTALLED LAST YEAR

There has been a lot of questions about the restoration work in the areas where natural gas lines were installed last year. Q3 will be performing the restoration for the project. There is 1 crew there now with more to follow. Estimated completion of restoration is 3-5 weeks. Restoration was delayed due to frost laws in place up until about 1.5 weeks ago.

Focus will be on boulevards, streets, fixing cold patches, etc. Per the contract signed by each service owner, Xcel Energy does not restore yards. There will be 2 people that go through the yards to review installation and rake bell holes flat, but no seeding will be done, this is the responsibility of the homeowner.  If you have questions, check out this webpage.
