CABLE TV CHANNEL NEGOTIATIONS ENTER 11TH HOUR!

For the past several weeks, Barnesville Cable TV, working through the National Cable Television Cooperative, has been trying to negotiate a contract with Viacom. Viacom owns 7 popular channels on Barnesville Cable – MTV, VH1, TV Land, Nickelodeon, Spike TV, CMT and Comedy Central.

Our current contract expires tonight at midnight. NCTC continues to actively negotiate with Viacom and remain hopeful to reach an agreement before midnight 3/31. However, if an agreement is not reached, it is possible that those channels will shutdown at midnight
