Picnic Shelter

In Barnesville, there are picnic shelters in both Blue Eagle Park and McGrath Park. They may be reserved by completing and returning the Facility Reservation Form to City Hall. If you have questions contact Jeri Reep at 218-354-2292.

If you’re planning to have a large gathering at one of the Barnesville parks, be advised that the City of Barnesville has an ordinance requiring groups of 12 or more people to have a park permit for gatherings taking place in city parks. The permit costs $25 for four hours, and $5 for every hour afterwards. This is a method to help keep our parks well maintained and looking nice everyone’s use.  To get an permit or for any questions, call the Police department at 218-354-2281
