Barnesville Area Clinic
The Barnesville Area Clinic (BAC), owned by Owen Thompson,
M.D., is a member of the Heartland Healthcare Network,
which consists of many independent providers in the
F-M and surrounding areas.
Unlike many small clinics, the BAC has
a full service laboratory. This allows the BAC providers
to more quickly and completely evaluate your needs
and minimize waiting for test results to return from
outside laboratories. The BAC also has an x-ray department
that is equipped to perform routine diagnostic x-rays
of any part of the body, head to toe. The x-rays are
first read by the BAC provider and then again by Independent
Radiology, a group of radiologists specialized in
reading x-rays of all types. In addition to lab and
x-ray the BAC offers many other tests to assist the
providers in providing the care you and your family
need.
On a regular basis, the BAC has visiting
specialists in the area of general surgery, urology,
orthopaedics, and psychology/counseling. The specialists
travel from the F-M area so you can have access to
their expertise without leaving town.
Barnesville Eye Clinic
A member of the Minnesota Eyecare Network, the Heartland
Healthcare Network and a participant of the Sanford
Health Program, licensed optometrist Dr. Randy Kempfer
and his staff provide a wide range of services. In
addition to eye exams, they offer contact lens services,
treatment of eye injuries, infections and glaucoma.
They have a good selection of both glasses and sunglasses.
Barnesville Chiropractic &
Fitness Center
A member of the Heartland Healthcare Network, Dr.
Sean Wahl and his staff provide provide chiropractic
services along with exercise counseling and rehabilitative
services. Dr. Wahl utilizes x-ray evaluation as well
as other diagnostic tests in order to properly diagnose
spinal conditions.
Dr. Wahl uses a personalized approach to your spinal
health as it relates to general health. Using
nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counseling, Dr.
Wahl will work with you to naturally regain your overall
health and wellness. Their on-site fitness center
provides easy access to rehabilitation activities.

Barnesville is very fortunate to have two licensed
dentists practicing in the community. Dr. Allan Rostad
and Dr. Jonathan Dahl own and operate separate dental
offices on Barnesville’s Main Street.
Local Pharmacy
One of the many services provided by City Center Drug
& Hardware is pharmaceutical services.
Licensed pharmacists Greg Sletten and Jim Bergeson
maintain a close relationship with all the medical
providers in the community and are committed to providing
quality customer service.
