SERVICES
The Police Department consists of the Chief of Police
and 4 full-time officers. The department, in addition
to regular police services, handles bicycle license,
home security checks, Operation Kid Print, DARE, McGruff
House Program, Viking football card distribution, operation
I.D., and participates in numerous other programs. The

FIRE DEPARTMENT
Fire protection services are provided by a volunteer
fire department. The department is governed by a joint
powers board. Dial 911 for fire emergency.
AMBULANCE SERVICE
A volunteer ambulance service provides basic life support
services in the community and surrounding areas. Dial
911 for emergency ambulance service.
How to become an ambulance volunteer.
Barnesville Ambulance is now licensed through the state
of Minnesota to hold Emergency medical classes in the
community. EMT, CPR and First Responder classes are
now being scheduled in support of those interested in
becoming an ambulance volunteer. If someone currently
