WATER TOWER MAINTENANCE TO BEGIN ON THURSDAY, MAY 5

Starting on Thursday, May 5, PeopleService will beginning work to inspect and clean the water tower.  These activities occur every 5 years as part of our regular maintenance schedule.  This work is done to insure good quality water for Barnesville residents.  As part of the inspection process, the water tower will be drained starting tomorrow.  It is expected to be back online on Monday, May 9.  During this time we will be running water through the system continuously to maintain pressure.  You may also see water flowing through several fire hydrants – this is part of the process.  Residents may experience discolored water in their homes; just continue to run the water and it will clear.  If you have any questions, contact Mike from PeopleService at 701.893.8825.
