IMPORTANT STEPS TO PREVENT FROZEN WATER LINES!

With little to no snow cover and really cold temperatures, we are beginning to receive reports of freezing water lines to homes as occurred last year. This can be a very expensive problem to fix. The easy prevention for this problem is to check the water temperature regularly in your home. If the temperature drops below 40 degrees, leave one faucet open to run a trickle of water about the size of a pencil. Remember that frozen lines are the responsibility of the property owner, not the City!
